Stratford News

  • Stratford Teacher Honored
On May 4th Stratford's Fine Arts teacher Dawn Kyser received the 2013 Elizabeth Campbell Award for Excellence in the Arts given by the Arlington Branch of the American Association of University Women. The award was in connection with the design of a curriculum unit and the "Under the Sea" mosaic that gave Stratford students the opportunity to express artistic skills and to learn about oceanography. Dr. Gerry accompanied Dawn to the awards luncheon which highlighted the advancement of the arts in Arlington. Dawn was also featured in the Sun Gazette this week! (Dawn is pictured below in the bottom row on the left.)
