First grade architects designed buildings using stamped shapes while developing their painting skills.
Students extended their knowledge of architecture by transforming three-dimensional forms into buildings and cityscapes.
3D Building Sculptures
After drawing animal shapes with texture, first grade artists learned about the printmaking process, including transferring a drawing to a printing plate, inking with marker and printing onto paper. They also added a textural border with crayon rubbings.
