As children enter my Pre-Kindergarten class, they are taking their first steps toward a successful future of learning. It is my responsibility as their teacher to foster the beginning of a safe and nurturing relationship between my children and their school, classmates, and teachers. Children will benefit from rich experiences that continue to develop their social, emotional, language, and academic potentials at school. I provide these experiences through hands-on activities, small and whole group instruction, individual exploration, and one-on-one interactions during their play. My classroom environment will help my children develop friendships and work cooperatively with others at school so that they can have a lasting and positive experience during their first year at school.
