My goal as a teacher is to prepare my students to excel academically, emotionally and socially in this ever-changing world. I believe that all students have the ability to learn and grow. I strive to differentiate instruction to address the multiple learning styles and various levels represented in my classroom. We celebrate cultural diversity and draw on the wealth and richness of our various backgrounds. Students are challenged daily to attain and exceed the learning goals. It is my goal to ensure a safe and nurturing environment, in which students learn and display self-respect and accountability; respect for their environment and peers; and a thirst for learning and discovering new things.
