Oakridge enrolls 630-650 children each year. Our facility is attractive and spacious with comfortable and efficient teaching spaces, moderate class sizes, low teacher:student ratios and a warm, happy atmosphere. Our school boasts a lovely nature habitat, richly-stocked library, ample classroom computers, and a variety of technology for enhanced student learning.
We have been identified our Exemplary School Project with The Mosaic Project, emphasizing our international and geographic diversity through an integrated curriculum. We pride ourselves on highly effective and superior instructional quality. We have an extremely active PTA and supportive school community. Our community volunteer tutoring program is a model for community/school support. Oakridge continues to enjoy a reputation as a warm, child-friendly and excellent neighborhood school in South Arlington.
