ESOL/HILT at Oakridge

Celebrate diversity!

Welcome! The ESOL/HILT program at Oakridge Elementary School serves students

from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.

HILT is for students with beginning and intermediate English proficiency,

and ESOL is for students with advanced English proficiency.

ESOL/HILT instruction supports English language learners as they acquire

the language proficiency they need to develop high levels of academic achievement.

We help English language learners meet the same academic content standards

that all students are expected to achieve.
