Nottingham and Radio Disney Dance Party Celebration

Kudos from Dr. Pat Murphy, APS Superintendent

On March 25th, Debbie DeFranco, Mary Beth Pelosky, Mark Johnston, and Dr. Pat Murphy along with the K-2 teachers and students enjoyed the Radio Disney Dance Party. Nottingham was selected to host this dance party from among a very select group of schools in our nation; the emphasis is on fitness and fun and staying active. The event was also sponsored by Blue Cross/Blue Shield, along with the Disney organization. The kids were literally coming out of their skin with today’s pop music culture, watching their teachers dance and compete in a hula-hoop contest, all interwoven with dancing and games with prizes. It all reinforces a strong belief we have here: the importance of fitness and staying healthy. Congratulations Nottingham!
