What are Expedition Days?
Expedition Days are a wonderful outdoor learning opportunity where students are encouraged to actively engage in the outdoors, observe, problem-solve, and share ideas. All of the 2nd-4th grade classes participate in an expedition either in the fall or spring on two consecutive Fridays from 9:00-10:00 am.Topics are numerous and vary depending upon our expeditions leaders' interests and expertise. Students choose from the variety of expedition topics and have the benefit of working in small mixed-aged groups of approximately 8-12 students.
