Dear Families,


We invite you to read the program descriptions of each of our classrooms. We have all adopted bird names as part of the greater school wide community here at Integration Station and The Children’s School. We consider ourselves part of a team who work together as students and teachers to move in one united direction.


In our descriptions you will find information about our integrated special education model across our three and four year old classrooms that serve students with and without special needs. You will also find information about our preschool special education classrooms that serve students with autism and toddlers with special needs.


In all of our classrooms, educational goals are individualized to each student based on their needs. Our program is designed to maximize every student’s potential in all areas of development. Particular attention and focus is given to communication, adaptive skills and social-emotional engagement as these areas are the biggest predictors of success in future schooling and in life beyond school.


We look forward to working with you and your child as your child grows and learns in our classrooms.
