School Start Time: The official start time of school is 8:00.  Children who arrive in the classroom after 8:00 must go to the office to get a tardy slip.  If your child is eating breakfast at school they need to be here at 7:40.  Instructional time begins at 8:05.

Homework: There will be math and word study homework every night and is due the next day.  All children are expected to do 20 minutes of reading or being read to and to fill in their reading logs.  The reading logs are due on Friday. 

Change of Routine: In order to ensure your child’s safety, all children need to bring in a note (in Spanish or English) if their afternoon routine will change (riding a different bus, waiting for pick-up, going home with friend, etc.).  If your child does not have a note from home they will be sent home in the usual way.
