Welcome to Long Branch!

  • Please Participate in the 2014 Speak UP Survey
Each year, Project Tomorrow conducts its nationwide Speak Up survey to get a sense of the current state of ed tech in the classroom.
Our Long Branch staff, students, parents, and community members are invited to participate in this year's SpeakUp survey to have a voice about emerging technology in education. The survey will remain open until Dec. 21.
For more information about the Speak Up survey is available online at http://apsva.us/survey. Thank you for participating.

  • NEWS Release from Arlington Public Schools: Weather-Related Closures and Delays PSA

Winter weather is making news headlines, as significant snowfall has occurred some regions of the country recently. Although we have been fortunate not to see any of that weather in this region, forecasters are calling for above average snowfall this winter. We encourage families to start preparing a plan for possible school delays and closures if snow, ice, and wintry weather occur. Watch this PSA to find out how to obtain up-to-date information on APS weather-related closures and delays during the winter season.

Our Long Branch students voted for Student Council Offices on Friday, November 7th. All of the students running for office did an outstanding job of campaigning and videotaping their speech. Students in each class had an opportunity to watch the speeches on television before voting online.
Congratulations to our 2014-15 Student Council Officers.
