W-L Announcements

  • Annual Washington-Lee Booster Golf Tournament

All are welcome at this year's 10th Annual W-L Booster Golf Tournament on Monday, June 27th. Click here to register.

The Washington-Lee High School Booster Golf Tournament enters its 10th year to support our Athletic Department. One hundred percent (100%) of the proceeds will go to the Washington-Lee High School Booster Club, a non-profit organization to support all teams. Due to this event, student athletes are given better equipment, clothing, sport camps/clinics, and scholarships.

In recent years the Tournament has grown to over 80 participants, predominantly school teachers, staff, and parents. Our 2016 goal is to sell out all eligible participant spots and raise $15,000. It's a lofty goal, however, our student-athletes are our future so why not give them the best resources and opportunities to succeed. That ability is fostered with events such as this charity golf tournament.

This event is open to all adults in our community, so please join us! Please consider attending whether you play golf, would like to become a sponsor, looking to socialize or even just wish to volunteer. Please contact evan.rodger@apsva.us if you have any questions, wish to beomce a sponsor or make a donation. Washington-Lee High School looks forward to seeing you on Monday, June 27, 2016. Save the date!
