All top 35 students who were chosen for the Regional Science Fair have now been notified by email. Certificates and judges’ comments will be handed out by teachers by Thursday. This is the last performance before Saturday's Virginia High School League competition of this stage adaptation of YHS alumna Ginny Mohler’s screenplay about the Radium Girls – teenage factory workers who were slowly poisoned while painting glow-in-the dark watches in the 1920’s. Ms. Mohler is a 2011 graduate of the NYS Tisch School of the Arts, and received the 2013 NYU-Alfred P. Sloan feature film production grant for her Radium Girls screenplay.
Ms. Mohler will be available for a Q&A with Ms. Cadby following the performance.
