APS High School Playwriting Contest in Collaboration with Signature Theatre

SigWorks in the SchoolsHigh School Playwrights wanted to participate in the free Arlington Public Schools & Signature Theatre Playwriting Competition! Selected students will work with a professional playwright to create a 10-minute play that will be presented in a live staged reading by professional actors. APS High school students in grades 9-12 are eligible to submit an entry. The application deadline is Tue, Feb. 13.

Session Dates:

  • Feb. 26, 4- 5:30 p.m. 
  • March 8, 4- 5:30 p.m
  • March 18, 4- 5:30 p.m
  • April 1, 4- 5:30 p.m
  • April 8, 4- 5:30 p.m
  • April 13 Show Rehearsal: 12 – 5 p.m.
  • Show: 7 – 8 p.m. 

All sessions and performances held at Signature Theatre
