Visit Germany with the ARLINGTON-AACHEN High School Exchange

Dates:

  • Arlington students to Aachen – July 1st to July 18th, 2024
  • German students in Arlington: October 9th to 21st, 2024

APPLICATION DEADLINE: Wednesday, Feb. 7th

Students are invited to participate in the Arlington-Aachen High School Exchange in summer 2024. The trip includes a two-week homestay in Arlington’s sister city of Aachen plus three days in Berlin, the capital of Germany.

Knowledge of the German language is not required, but if you already speak some German you will improve your language skills on this trip!

Successful applicants must be current 9th, 10th or 11thgrade high school students residing or attending school in Arlington, and demonstrate leadership, maturity, and an interest in foreign history and cultures. Participants will be invited to host an Aachen student for two weeks in early Fall 2024.

Financial aid is available for qualified applicants.
